I have however, learnt from past mistakes and since then have made sure that a well thought through storyboard always features in the pre-production process. Making sure that it continues to grow and progress throughout the whole planning stage to ensure that we are all happy with the final product.

Pre-production is vital or the coordination of what is going to be filmed and includes many stages that cannot to ignored (as I learnt).
