Simple And Easy To Make Spaghetti Squash Recipes

By Christopher Lewis

Pumpkin season arrived. It's time to enjoy in these lovely vegetables all over again. There are so many varieties to choose from, but today is time for spaghetti squash recipes. Starting with the most simplest one, and continuing with more interesting and surprising recipes. So, here is the basic recipe to follow.

Cut the squash in half and discard seeds. Place baking paper in a pan, grease it with butter and place halves on face down. Put the pan into on 350F preheated oven and bake for an hour or until soft. Use the fork to scrape flesh in strings into a bowl. Toss with melted butter and grated Parmesan cheese, add salt and pepper and enjoy.

As you can see, it's really simple and easy. Once you have these lovely strings, use them as regular pasta, with meat, sauces, cheese, salsa, fresh vegetables or whatever. Use them for making sweet or salty dishes. Of course, here are some slightly different recipes you might enjoy in, if you want to try something entirely different.

Once you scrape out your vegetable spaghetti, take a few sheets of filo paste, the same quantity of cottage cheese and a few tablespoons of sour cream, one egg and a few pieces of butter. Mix the egg with a little bit of salt, add some cheese and squash and spread the mixture over the filo sheet. Roll it and place on greased pan. Continue with this procedure until you fill the pan with rolls.

Spread sour cream on rolled pasta and sprinkle salt on the surface. Bake for thirty minutes in preheated oven, on 350F. Serve with yogurt for light supper, or as dessert after tasty meal, with a glass of white wine. It tastes really great and you certainly won't be disappointed.

You could also use these vegetable spaghetti for making really tasty salads. In fast, there are several different ways for baking the squash. You can prick the surface with knife, and place the whole one into the oven, and cut and clean it after it's done. You can also bake it in the microwave, it takes only 20 minutes.

Anyway, you will need one pound of prepared spaghetti, 200 grams fresh spinach, 200 grams diced feta cheese, one clove minced garlic, one tablespoon olive oil, salt and pepper. If your spinach is really young and soft, use it as it is, if not, cut it into stripes. Combine olive oil with spices and garlic and mix all your ingredients together. Enjoy in your light and fulfilling salad.

Or you can do something really simple. Make your favorite pumpkin soup. When it is almost done, add vegetable noodles in. Add a few drops of good pumpkin seed oil on the top, sprinkle with chopped parsley leaves and add one spoon of good sour cream on the top, if you like. This lovely soup tastes great with toasted bread, but it's pumpkin seed oil that gives it that special aroma and taste.
