It is important knowing more about the activities of HVAC when looking at the installation procedure. This is a system which cools and heats the air. It has been designed to fit in structures. The reason why the system is popular is that it provides calm surroundings. There are various steps in St Augustine HVAC repairs and installation services.

The first step that should be involved in the installation process is calculating the load. This will help in finding out the right size of the unit that will effectively heat or cool the room. You can use online software to determine the load. Having the right size of equipment will ensure that it performs effectively.

Deciding where to put the fan coil unit should be another thing to consider. There are different places where it can be located. The important issue is ensuring that the location is not accessed by climatic conditions. Some of the areas where the unit can be placed include attic, garage, basement, closet and utility rooms. The units are available in the market in two major types like vertical and horizontal units.

The return air vent ought to be positioned in a good location. Some areas that you should avoid placing the return duct include dining room, kitchen and living room. The fan goes through a cut opening which is made in accordance with the return air duct size and dimension.

Another step that should be undertaken is creating a platform. This will be affected by the size of the fan coil. It is recommended that the platform should be constructed using plywood measuring half an inch. There is isolation strips provided that help in enhancing the performance. Suspension of the fan coil is necessary. The rod and fan coil system should not have a direct connection.

Supply plenum ring should be located below the fan coil. The fan coil should be moved over the edge of the platform. This will provide room for the plenum ring. Attach the ring gasket to the fan coil before placing it in the supply plenum ring. The condensate drain should be connected to the fan coil. The provided condensate drain has instructions that should be adhered to. You should not connect the condensate drain to an enclosed drain unit.

Refrigerant lines should be connected from the condensing unit located outside to the fan coil located inside the house. There are instructions provided by the manufacturer that should be adhered to when installing, charging and trapping the condensing unit. The layout of your system should be guided by your size requirements. When installing the plenum duct, it is important that elbows, branch, and tees should be eighteen inches from the fan coil system. To ensure that the drop of pressure will be minimal in the system, you should use minimal elbows and tees.

Take time in selecting the location of room terminators. Adhere to the specifications provided when installing the terminators. Supply tune installation is the last step in this process. Sharp bends should be avoided in the supply tubing.
